Temescal Art Hop
Friday, October 5th, 6-9pm
We are happy to continue our participation in the Temescal Art Hop, a fun neighborhood event that features music, art, food, and prizes from over a dozen local merchants.

Leon Kennedy Art Exhibition and Birthday Celebration
Setpember 7-14
Reception Monday, September 10, 2-5pm
The East Bay Depot is proud to exhibit the work of visionary folk artist Leon Kennedy.
Leon is a lifelong artist dedicated to creating figurative spiritual visions using reused materials. His artwork is made with crayons, markers, and paint on found surfaces such as bedsheets, plates, wood tables, and chairs.
Leon has exhibited internationally and his work is in many personal and museum collections, including the Smithsonian American Art Museum and the Collection de l’Art Brut in Switzerland. He has been celebrated in publications featuring American Folk Art. Despite all his acclaim, Leon still finds time to visit the Depot regularly and share his new work with us.
The East Bay Depot will host an exhibition of new artworks by Leon Kennedy from Friday, September 7th through Friday, September 14th. Please join us at the Depot store on Monday, September 10th from 2:00-5:00pm for a reception honoring Leon’s fantastic reuse artworks and to celebrate his birthday. Meet the artist, enjoy some cake, and get inspiration and materials for your own reuse art.
